Mark has studied film and theater directing with noted acting teacher Milton Katselas, actor Jeffrey Tambor and film director Jim Pasternak. The American Film Institute granted Mark a scholarship for a directing fellowship. Mark directed and filmed several scenes from Blood and Money, an original dramatic screenplay. As a photographer and author he is working on a photo history book titled An Illusion So Real: American Civil War Reenactors. He has expanded the book into a documentary film and directed a promotional trailer. These promotional trailers provide a taste of the projects.
